Joy Kecken
Director
Joy has written and directed for the critically acclaimed HBO series, The Wire, and served as an Executive Producer on Apple TV+’s
second season of Swagger.
Last month, NatGeo’s Genius: MLK/X received 7 NAACP nominations for the season Joy co-executive produced. She has also worked as a
Co-Executive Producer on FX’s Kindred, collaborating with the visionary director, Janicza Bravo. She has two features in development, one with Maven Pictures and the other with Permut Presentations. She is attached to direct The Caregivers for Dallas Media Productions.
As a director, librettist and Consulting Producer for Boston Lyric’s award-winning digital opera webseries, desert in, Joy has fulfilled a
lifelong dream of bridging her musical background with her love of cinema, all while filming on location in Palm Springs. She was also a Consulting Producer on the feature documentary, The
Biggest Little Farm, which was a favorite on the festival circuit, leading to the film getting on the Oscar shortlist. Her additional writing credits include Motherland: Fort Salem, Marvel’s
Cloak and Dagger, Tales and Homicide: Life on the Street. She has also developed series at ABC Signature, FX, Freeform and UCP.
Last year, she participated in the 24 Hour Plays’ visit to LA to support the Entertainment Fund for crew members affected by the strikes, and her one-act, ten-minute play, Hollywood Invitation, was performed at the Hudson Theatre.
Joy lives with her husband and daughter in Los Angeles.

Matthew H. Morris
Producer | Pinyon Pictures
Matthew began his entertainment career in Charlotte, North Carolina managing and developing musical artists. He then transitioned into film and television production accruing dozens of credits across the platforms of feature films, national and regional commercials, and episodic television. Matthew went on to found Pinyon Pictures to develop, produce and consult for feature films, television, and branded content. He has several projects set for production such as inspirational bio-drama Finding Normal, crime comedy I Need A Drink, thriller The Shadow Between Us, horror / comedy Click Like to Die, and dark comedy Fleetwood & DeVille with George Gallo attached to direct. Matthew is also developing several additional features including action / thriller Circuit, true crime FBI thriller Alabama Bunker, and paranormal horror / thrillers The Entity Case, The Caregivers, and The Sleeping House along with sci-fi thriller Wardencliffe, based on the novella by New York Times Best Selling Author F. Paul Wilson and coming of age drama Girlie. Matthew is also developing several series for television including true crime dramas Techwood and Catcher-Catcher, original crime drama The Ten Thousand, and true crime FBI action-drama HRT: Hostage Rescue Team. As a producer and consultant he works with clients & colleagues across all content platforms, genres and budget levels including project packaging, structured finance, casting, distribution, P&A, and investor relations. Originally from Rome Georgia, Matthew resides in Charleston, South Carolina where he remains a life-long fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.

Mikeal Burgin
Writer/Director
Mikeal Burgin has worked as a writer, director, and actor since 2007, collaborating with notable talents such as Doug Jones ("My Friend Max") and Tom Berenger and Steven Luke ("The Battle of the Bulge: Wunderland"). He is an experienced and skilled director and filmmaker.

Kevin Brubaker
Executive Producer
Kevin is an Executive Producer and practitioner of the art of fiction. He is an avid member of the Dallas Producers Association, contributing both ideas and their practical implementation. He has served as board member and contributor of the Iowa Motion Picture Association, showcasing the talents, products, and markets of all members of the Iowa Production Community. Since moving to Dallas, TX, he has continued his work to bring stories to life.

Debra Brubaker
Executive Producer
Debra Brubaker is an Executive Producer & Videographer. She directs and films their productions in a style that has been praised for its similarity to the Hungarian Director Bela Tarr, as she captures unconscious emotions through her sapient use of close-ups. She excels at making people feel like close personal friends within minutes of their meeting and, in so doing, draws out the best in actors, performers, and people she interviews.​​
